The Apple iPod Nano 4th Generation 8GB rocks like never before! With eight amazing colors (the purple will blow you away) and a new curved design, it is easy on the eyes and the wallet. It includes Apple's new Genius playlist tool, which finds the songs in your music library that go great together and makes a playlist for you.

With its built-in accelerometer, the iPod Nano 4th Generation is made to move. Give it a vigorous shake, and it shuffles to a different song in your library. Although causal shaking caused by running or exercising should not trigger the Nano's shuffle mode, an unsuspecting jiggle may annoy the more conservative types. But, they can always deactivate the shake-to-shuffle feature under the iPod's setting menu or by engaging the hold switch.

The Nano's new tilt-sensor is useful for activating the iPod's Cover Flow music view when turning the device on its side. The 4th Generation iPod Nano also flips the orientation of video playback depending on which direction you prefer to turn the screen. Lefties rejoice! Unfortunately, it may be a bit confusing to use the iPod's scroll wheel controls while holding the player sideways for video playback.

Watching movies, TV shows, and video is even more fun on the sharp 2-inch screen. And your photos (up to 14,000 of them) look great in portrait or landscape view. Available in 8 GB and 16 GB models, the 8 GB iPod nano puts up to 2,000 songs or 8 hours of video in your pocket.

Apple’s thinnest iPod yet is great for teens, college students and the lady of the house.
